Ginger primarily provides contract negotiation and consulting services for energy companies, including transactions in power, natural gas and renewable energy, for both physical and financial trading. She previously worked as a Senior Contract Administrator at Iberdrola Renewables for over 9 years and, before that, as a Credit Analyst for both PacifiCorp and Idaho Power. Ginger negotiates numerous contracts, including parent guarantees, confidentiality agreements, and master trading agreements such as ISDAs, EEIs, NAESBs, WSPPs, master REC agreements and more. Over the years, she learned the value of finding the unique communication style of each individual and how to leverage that knowledge to get contracts negotiated in a timely and efficient manner. She has over 19 years of experience in the energy industry with a background in credit analysis and contract administration, and is heavily involved in industry organizations such as the International Energy Credit Association (IECA), where she served as a board member and former co-chair of the Contracts and Legal Education Group. She has been actively involved on a variety of contract drafting committees, giving her in-depth knowledge and understanding of standardized trading agreements and one-off trading agreements, and where she participated in the development of the IECA Dodd-Frank Amendments and the IECA Master Agreement Gap Risk Table.
